The First Tee of Orange County is always grateful to anyone who would like to volunteer their time. We welcome individuals who can help in all areas, including:

  • Assistant Coaches

Volunteers work with our Lead Instructors to teach both life skills and golf skills. Assistant Coaches work directly with kids and help in planning and delivering The First Tee Life Skills Experience.

Time Commitment: Classes run for nine weeks and require a 1.5 hour per week commitment. Classes are held Monday through Saturdays.

  • Office Support

Volunteers are needed to assist with general office duties, including answering phones, data entry, and classroom and storage organization.

Time Commitment: Flexible

  • Events and Fundraising

The First Tee of Orange County hosts and plans various events and fundraisers throughout the year. Assistance is needed for the execution of the events in a variety of capacities, including event planning, event set-up, assistance with registration, greeting guests and check-out.

Time Commitment: Flexible

  • Course Maintenance

The First Tee of Orange County uses a short, 4-hole golf course at The Islands Golf Center in Anaheim. Volunteers are needed to assist with mowing fairways, repairing divot marks, planting and caring for plants, etc.

We encourage all local PGA and LPGA professionals to volunteer with The First Tee of Orange County to acquire service hours.
